Metal used to galvanise steel, i.e., to protect it from corrosion. For manufacturing brass and other zine-based alloys, mainly in the pressure modelling sector. Also used for making composites, for instance in zinc oxide and zinc sulphate, and in zinc plate used for tiles, gutters and drainpipes.
