Brugués and Elena Barraquer Foundation

Since we are born, we discover the world through our eyes. Sight allows us to observe, perceive, scrutinize and distinguish. It allows us to guess, understand and understand. But unfortunately, this sense is not available to everyone, because at least 2.2 billion people suffer from visual impairment and of those, at least 1 billion could have prevented it or can be treated.

Aware of this, this year we collaborate with the Elena Barraquer Foundation, the non-profit organization that fights against cataracts, the main cause of preventable blindness.

The Foundation organizes medical-surgical expeditions to developing countries to carry out cataract surgeries to restore sight. They know that when a person is operated on for cataracts, their living conditions and those of those around them are improved.

Because this year, more than any other, we must work to envision a 2021 full of health, solidarity and positivism.

In addition, from Brugués we have already bought the Foundation's solidarity masks for our team, to guarantee a safe and respectful work environment for everyone.
